Double Split
Shaft Collars are used as mechanical stops in Power Transmissions like motors. They can be attached to shafts and used as spacing (maintains space for component parts), limiting (limits the movement of shafts), and positioning (locates or positions components on shafts) depending on the system.
Double Split Shaft Collars can be used anywhere on the shaft. Used for shaft applications when components like Gears, Bearings, Sprockets or V Pulleys are locked into position, they are easy to disassemble, exceeding the holding power of Single Split Shaft Collars by 10%. Functioning well with under-sized and over-sized shafts, Double Split Shaft Collars have two screws equally spaced on both sides.
