Taperlock Bushes are used to secure Taperlock Pulleys, Sprockets or Couplings to Shafts. This 1008 Series Taperlock Bush suits a shaft size of 10mm.
The Taperlock Bush fits into the hub with 2 grub screws, as the grub screws are tightened the Taperlock compresses onto the shaft and keyway securing the Pulley/Sprocket. To remove the Bush, you remove the 2 grub screws and screw one back into the third hole, lifting the Bush out.
Our Taperlock Bushes are made from Cast Iron, however Mild Steel or Stainless Steel can be supplied but are generally considerably more expensive.
**Please Note: Taperlock Bushes are meant for parallel shafts, not tapered shafts.
