Glacier Bushes
Just like Oilite Bushes but without the infused lubricants, the Glacier Bushes available at Bearing Shop UK are another type of bushing with a split or a “cut along” design. We supply two major types of Glacier bushes: the DU and the DX type.
DU Glacier Bushes are plain bearing materials that offer a good performance on both wear and friction over a wide range of temperatures, speeds, and radial and axial loads. DU Glacier Bushes are ideal for construction and agricultural machines or for any other application which requires rotating and sliding motions. Usually, DU Glacier Bushes operate without lubricants and are resistant to most solvents and industrial liquids.
On the other hand, DX Glacier bushes are slightly lubricated with either grease or oil and are commonly utilised in pneumatic, automotive, and medical equipment.
