Open 6004-C3 Ball Bearing manufactured by FAG with an inside diameter of 20mm, an outside diameter of 42mm, and a width of 12mm.

Generally used in gearboxes or areas that are not subject to dust or moisture, open bearings have no seals or shields, allowing oil or grease to flow through the bearing for lubrication purposes.

C3 bearings have a larger clearance around the balls allowing the bearing to cope better with heat expansion, this means the bearing runs freer and smoother at higher temperatures. C3 Bearings also cope better in start/stop applications, they are found in almost every electric motor produced and are commonly found in washing machines and tumble driers
