Shielded 6003-2ZRC3 Ball Bearing manufactured by FAG with an inside diameter of 17mm, an outside diameter of 35mm, and a width of 10mm.

Shielded Bearings have metal seals that connect to the outer race only; this protects the bearing from dust and large solid particles but not from moisture. They are generally used in faster running machines as they have less friction than Rubber Sealed Bearings.

C3 bearings have a larger clearance around the balls allowing the bearing to cope better with heat expansion, this means the bearing runs freer and smoother at higher temperatures.
