High quality ceramic hybrid bearings. Inner and outer races of the bearings are made from stainless steel and the balls are made from a super smooth black silicone nitride (ceramic)

The Ceramic balls surface is much smoother than standard steel which allows them to spin with considerably less resistance, create less wear and need less lubricant

We only recommend these bearings for road/TT bikes as the ceramic balls are more brittle than steel. This means they generally last less time in high shock applications, i.e. mountain biking

Please note that these are the same bearings supplied by cycle shops and found in very expensive kits supplied by all of the leading manufactures
